The top of the back of the head is swollen from som moisture exposure.Replacement will be the best course of action on that.

The inside of the cabinet is pretty wrecked.The metal is well corroded and it is of course filthy.

I am using a nice birch for replacement.Not doubt this is a good upgrade compared to the mdf used at the factory.

I have clamped the old to the new for hole alignment.

All the holes have been drilled and dimpled.

The head is placed on the ground so it will have a nice solid backing while I replace and tap the new wood in place.
