1
Before teardown takes place I know that this project will utilize a new lower cabinet and playfield set so I will get those
2
Prime and guidecoated.
3
Sanded based and cleared.Wet right now.
4
Dried overnight and ready to prep for decals at a later stage.
5
Replacement playfield is nice but will need some corrections prior to being worthy of install.
6
First issue is that the clear is too thick and it is unnaturally gathered in some places like the shooter lane.
7
Other unnatural gathering areas will be highlighted by dips and waves in the insert areas.
8
Large run present and highlighted in the light reflections.
9
Another issue to address will be the lack of white letter bordering for the lite and lock inserts.
10
The inner band of the hat will be painted the correct orange as well.
11
Playfield is carefully shaved down to level the clear and remove a lot of it from the surface entirely.
12
Correction will be made to the hat now.
13
Also minor corrections at the sign post.
14
Corrections made to those areas.
15
16
17
Lite and Lock are fixed.
18
Ready to clear.
19
Cleared.
20
21
22
23
Upper playfield is also shaved down and prepped to clear.
24
Upper cleared,
25
Will let this cure now as the rest of the process takes place.
26
Lower is prepped and ready to decal.
27
Decals applied to lower will finish the edges next.
28
Base game is set up now and ready to evaluate prior to teardown.
29
Pretty average game overall.Nothing unexpected for the title. Separated corners and fade.
30
Topper is present but faded and bubbling. Most are.
31
32
33
34
Wood of the cabinet is rough.
35
Masked off around the warning text at some point.
36
Lockbar scratched up/ gouged here and there.
37
Glass off.
38
Rust and corrosion on the receiver probably bad enough in this case to justify a replacement.
39
Plenty of ground in dirt in the shooter lane.
40
At a glance it looks okay but there are some real concerns with the playfield.
